I garden in Central Texas. This blog is my notebook to track bloom times, what was planted when, etc. It may not make great reading, but you're welcome to poke around!
The toughest flowers I've grown so far - gracefully bearing Texas heat, alkaline soil and criminal neglect - are Grand Primo narcissus and Belinda’s Dream shrub rose.
Rosemary and ruellia also perform very well in heat and neglect (and the former makes for tasty roasted potatoes).
